What are Basic and Advanced modes?
Every PromotiAI workspace operates in one of two workflow modes:
- Basic mode — a guided, step-by-step experience designed for marketers who are new to AI-powered automation. The platform surfaces one decision at a time, uses sensible defaults, and hides low-level configuration options that aren't needed day-to-day.
- Advanced mode — full AI autonomy. Unlocks multi-experiment testing, granular automation controls, audience-segment overrides, prompt customisation, and the Autoresearch loop. Designed for growth-stage teams comfortable with AI-driven decision-making.
The workflow mode is stored on your workspace record (workflow_mode column) and applies to all projects in that workspace. You can toggle it at any time without losing any data or published content.
